Pitch Evaluation

For our pitch, we managed to cover the requirements that the audience needed to know about our music video. First of all we showed the class our Animoto we created which included our genre of Hip-Hop and influences of other artists including Example and Devlin. We were questioned on the costume as we said we were to be using graphic t-shirts which don't really fit in with the style of the genre and so we will be keeping it plain and basic, we will still be using ideas such as the hoodies/jackets, and also the trackies/joggers which were shown on the pitch, as this does fit in with the genre and is easy for our artists to wear as they already own clothing like this. For the locationing of the music video we explained to the audience that we would be using 4 or 5 different locations in Leicester city centre for all of our shots. The artists we will be using will be two 18 year old males, one white and one Asian, both from Leicester themselves. Our bands name 'Perplexa' was recieved well as when asked to clarify the meaning of 'Perplex', we explained that it means to be confused and baffled and this fits in with the song choice and genre of the youth of today living their lives, and so this went down well with the audience.
